Surgical grade stainless steel
Due to our commitment to your health, ELDI Jewelry does not sell jewelry made from steel.
Titanium
Titanium is the most biocompatible material available on the market.
It is extremely lightweight (40% lighter than steel), hard, and resistant to corrosion. It does not deteriorate in saltwater or pool water.
Titanium’s biocompatibility is superior to steel, and there are no known allergies reported in medical literature to date. It is the ideal material for body jewelry and is recommended for initial piercings.
ELDI distributes only titanium from brands certified by ASTM (F-136 and F-67), ensuring a safety standard for our customers.
Gold
ELDI proudly offers certified 14-karat pure gold products, free from zinc alloys, making them hypoallergenic.
Brass
Brass has a color similar to gold but is easier to manipulate for fine jewelry and more affordable. Technically an alloy of copper and tin, it was initially used in goldsmithing and jewelry. Acceptance or rejection of this jewelry depends on its components.
Glass, Borosilicate/pyrex
This material is a type of glass made from a combination of boron and silicon. It has a coefficient of expansion that makes it challenging to work with but provides smoothness, resistance to thermal changes, and better shock absorption than common glass.
Personal Preferences
Undoubtedly, you may have aesthetic preferences for one material over another.
Their visible characteristics, tones, shine, and colors may complement different parts of your body or your chosen accessories.
